Oboarding
Currently, there are two ways to join our mobile application:
Method 1: Referral Codes - Existing users have 25 referral codes that they can share with potential users, investors, friends, or family. These referral codes are unique and will expire within 48 hours. Once a proposed user receives a referral code and completes the onboarding process, they gain complete access to the platform and its features without any limitations. However, before committing any investment amount through the platform, a mandatory prompt will require them to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process.
Method 2: ICON Partner - The ICON Partner feature caters to various use cases, including angel networks, college alumni, and wealth managers. ICON Partners , such as admin of a college alumni, are granted login access from the backend. ICON Partners can use this login to onboard multiple users, up to 1000, onto the platform using the referral route. Each user onboarded through an ICON Partner will be tagged under the respective title given by the ICON Partner. For example. Example, if an IIT admin has an ICON Partner, users onboarded via the IIT ICON Partner will be tagged as IIT alumni, which will be displayed on their profile section.
Users who are onboarded through a referral by another ICON (Investor Community and Network) have access to all deals onboarded by the app admin or other partners, such as Incubators or Angel Networks. They are automatically connected to the person who referred them to the platform for future reference.
Users who are onboarded by Wealth Managers, Investment Advisors, Chartered Accountants, and similar professionals have access to all deals onboarded by the app admin or other partners, including Incubators or Angel Networks. They are automatically connected to the person who referred them to the platform for future reference.
